KPMG IT Service OOD is an IT service provider with a mission to digitalize the core business of KPMG IT Service GmbH and KPMG AG in Germany and their clients across the globe. We employ around 200 people in Sofia and deliver the full spectrum of IT services to our clients, including Software Engineering, Application & Platform Operations, Infrastructure and Cloud, Digital Compliance and Valuation of Financial Instruments.

As ServiceNow Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and nurturing a team of approximately 10 software engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and support the team, ensuring that each member is equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles. You will act as a mentor and coach, providing personalized guidance to foster professional growth and development. This includes organizing and facilitating training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge. You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement within the team and implementing strategies to boost performance and productivity. Additionally, you will perform other related duties as assigned to support the team and company objectives.

You will additionally focus on:

  • Developing and overseeing career growth plans for team members will be a key part of your role, ensuring alignment with their professional goals and the company's objectives.
  • Setting and defining performance goals will be crucial, and you will regularly review and provide feedback on progress to help the team achieve these targets.
  • Quality assurance will be a significant aspect of your responsibilities, as you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions by maintaining best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Facilitating workshops for demonstrating ServiceNow modules and capabilities.
  • Participating in the recruitment process, including interviewing and evaluating potential candidates to build a strong and cohesive team.
  • Overseeing the successful delivery of software projects in ServiceNow will be another critical responsibility.
  • Ensuring projects tasks are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to plan and prioritize projects and tasks, you will allocate resources effectively to meet project goals.

What you bring in:

  • Strong technical background with minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within software engineering will be considered plus.
  • A strong track record of delivering technology projects on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator.
  • Certified in ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4).
  • Expertise in scripting on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, CSS and Angular JS: Flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Widgets and UI Pages.
  • Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: Integration Hub, SSO, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, etc.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse group of clients or stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies will be considered plus.
