KPMG IT Service OOD is an IT service provider with a mission to digitalize the core business of KPMG IT Service GmbH and KPMG AG in Germany and their clients across the globe. We employ more than 200 people in Sofia and deliver the full spectrum of IT services to our clients, including Software Engineering, Application & Platform Operations, Cloud & Infrastructure and Digital Process Compliance.
We are looking for a Project and Service Delivery Manager to join our Cloud & Infrastructure division. In this role, you will be responsible for the onboarding of applications to the Cloud Platform until handover to operations, using best practices for traditional and agile project management in a multinational environment and within virtual teams, as well as managing Service Management requests and processes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Leading Cloud related projects and service initiatives and ensure delivery of the initiative within scope, budget and agreed timeline.
- Stakeholder and Communication management, as well as project reporting according to PPMO ITS processes.
- Effective collaboration with Intake Management, Engineering teams, Business Services, Operations and other ITS departments to ensure their needs are met and feedback is incorporated into service improvements.
- Successful transition between project phases, from Intake, through Project implementation, to Operations.
- Ensure compliance of the Cloud Platform to the regulatory and company specific requirements.
- Consolidate Azure Cloud Hosting Team projects’ pipeline reporting and regular status updates to the Team Leadership.
- Maintain deep understanding of Cloud Platform offering and be able to consult stakeholders for Cloud Platform specific, ITS and OnePlatform processes.
- Support with Cloud Platform specific Service Management tasks, such as Documentation management, EntraID and IDM requests, and charge-back processes.
What you bring in:
- Minimum 3 years of IT Project Management experience.
- Solid experience leading IT projects using Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
- Managing projects with multinational and virtual teams.
- Excellent ability to understand and communicate effectively technical concepts.
- Good level of technical expertise, gained through either a previous technical role or through leading cloud technology (M365, AWS, Azure) and software development projects.
- Experience in using key project management tools – MS Project, Azure DevOps, Teams.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, presentation and communication skills. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Highly motivated and result oriented.
- Strong sense of ownership, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Very good written and spoken English, German language skills are considered an advantage
- Technical understanding of Cloud environments will be considered a strong advantage.
Professional Qualifications
- Certification in Project Management (PMP and/or Prince 2 Practitioner), as well as Agile Project Management (ACP) and/or Agile Scrum Master (e.g. PSM) will be considered as an advantage.
