We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ourclients'D365 F&O solutions. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into comprehensive and scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices, and driving successful deployments. This role requires a deep understanding of D365 F&O, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture:
- Lead the design of end-to-end solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business goals.
- Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation that clearly communicate the technical and functional components of the solution.
- Assess and recommend the best deployment strategies, including cloud, on-premises, or hybrid solutions.
Implementation Leadership:
- Oversee the implementation process, ensuring that configurations, customizations, and integrations are performed according to best practices.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of the solution.
- Perform code and design reviews to ensure adherence to standards and identify potential issues early.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide expert-level support for D365 F&O, including troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing system performance.
- Lead data migration efforts, ensuring data integrity and seamless transition from legacy systems to D365 F&O.
- Stay current with the latest features and updates in the Dynamics 365 platform, advising the business on how to leverage new functionalities.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on D365 F&O capabilities and best practices.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify gaps, and propose solutions that enhance business processes.
Compliance & Security:
- Ensure that all solutions comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Implement robust security measures within the D365 F&O environment, including role-based access controls and data protection strategies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the D365 F&O environment.
- Lead post-implementation reviews and work with teams to address any issues or areas for enhancement.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
What you bring in:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, with at least 3years in a solutions architect role.
- Proven track record of successful D365 F&O implementations, from design to deployment.
- Extensive experience in ERP system architecture, design patterns, and integration strategies.
- Strong experience in data migration, system integration, and third-party application management within D365 F&O.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries: Financial Services, Energy, Oil & Gas, Retail, Government & Administration.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Inventory Management.
- Proficiency in SQL, C#, Power Platform, and Azure services related to D365 F&O.
- Experience with Data Management Framework (DMF) and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in the context of D365 F&O projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate business needs into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (required).
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert (preferred).
- Additional certifications in Azure or Power Platform are a plus.
