KPMG IT Service OOD is an IT service provider with a mission to digitalize the core business of KPMG IT Service GmbH and KPMG AG in Germany and their clients across the globe. We employ more than 200 people in Sofia and deliver the full spectrum of IT services to our clients, including Software Engineering, Application & Platform Operations, Cloud & Infrastructure and Digital Process Compliance.
We are looking to strengthen our team of infrastructure system engineers focused on designing, building, securing and managing storage, server and backup infrastructure for internal customers inside of KPMG.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage on-prem storage and server infrastructure
- Azure: implement and manage enterprise grade cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, ensuring alignment with Microsoft Well-Architected Framework best practices
- Troubleshoot storage, server and OS related matters and work with vendors on their resolution
- Participate in the development, implementation, and strategy for storage infrastructure
- Take part in infrastructure projects for design and maintenance of IT solutions
What you bring in:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar university degree
- Strong experience in operating complex business critical IT infrastructures
- Knowledge of storage technologies, SAN or server infrastructure
- Business fluent English and German
What will be considered as an advantage:
- Microsoft Hyper-V knowledge
- Experience with Brocade SAN and FC infrastructure
- Previous HPE support experience
