Position overview:
The Contract Manager would play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts within our organization. This includes the initial drafting, execution, and ongoing management of contracts to ensure compliance and fulfillment of all terms and conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Contract Preparation and Review: Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and related documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies, including but not limited to GDPR, labor laws, and industry standards.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in contract terms and provide recommendations to mitigate exposure.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between legal teams, procurement, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and resolution of contract-related issues.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence within the company’s guidelines and procedures
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties meet their contractual obligations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve contract management processes and implement best practices.
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree or legal qualification is a plus.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in contract administration, legal services, procurement, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and contract structures.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Fluency in English is a must
