KPMG IT Service OOD is an IT service provider with a mission to digitalize the core business of the KPMG network member firms and their clients. We employ more than 500 people in Sofia and deliver the full spectrum of IT services to our clients, including SAP solutions, Software Engineering, Application & Platform Operations, Cloud and Infrastructure.
Our Cloud Services unit is focused on designing, building, securing and managing cloud native & hybrid platforms for the KPMG group of member firms, as well as providing cloud advisory and engineering services to external clients.
The Cloud Security Architect supports the architecture design, planning, quality assurance and innovation for security services. He/she shall help KPMG’s global cloud enablement supporting security and solution teams with architecture design and technical recommendations. Additionally, the Cloud Security Architect is responsible for developing security strategies, judgements, and documentation to enable solution teams to adopt and speed to market emerging cloud technologies.
Your responsibilities:
- Understand, research, design and develop security solutions, technical and reference architectures. Support security strategies tailored to KPMG’s business needs, with a focus towards Cloud services
- Lead, develop and contribute to Service deliverables with a security focus on solutions containing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud services, that require partnership with Global Application/Product/Solution owners and project teams to deliver reliable and scalable security capabilities and strategies optimizing confidentiality, integrity, availability, functionality, performance, and financial costs; support ongoing business stakeholder dialog of security strategies, priorities and governance
- Helping the customer pick the right EDR/XDR solution, creating an Operation Model for EDR/XDR and helping the customer implement the solution
- Align and translate business requirements into secure solutions, designs and reference architectures for applications and products that can be leveraged by all professionals across KPMG’s member firms
- Perform as a subject matter professional on Azure cloud technologies (and Azure cloud technology security) with responsibilities to coach
- Participate and act as a guardian of global standards and standard infrastructure services and solutions, while supporting audit processes for security and compliance strategies
What you bring in:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant IT and IT security experience
- Extensive knowledge in building EDR/XDR solutions
- Experience with Defender for Cloud and Palo Alto Cortex XDR is a plus
- Experience in supporting information security operations, specifically monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining mission critical networks and information systems
- Experience in cloud security architecture design, documentation, and better practices; understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks
- A holistic understanding of attack vectors, current threats, and remediation strategies
- Relevant Cloud Architect Certification
- Relevant Security Certification
- Good understanding in at least one Identity Management provider solution.
- Service Management experience based on ITIL framework (ServiceNow).
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus
