Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Architect and Solution Lead to join our team. This pivotal role is centered on shaping and executing our global enterprise application strategy, design, and integration. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding and experience in enterprise applications and integrated functional business processes within a global professional services organization and demonstrate a proven ability to address complex challenges through technology solutions.
A key component of being successful on this role includes the ability to successfully manage stakeholder needs and expectations, build business cases around them, while providing budget calculations and strong justification of the strengths of the proposed solutions.
The professional background of the successful candidate includes plenty of experience in gathering and analyzing requirements, design and technological integration of enterprise applications at scale, regardless of the technical stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Drive the strategic assessment and identification of enterprise application requirements and needs across the organization. Formulate and drive the enterprise application strategy to align with organizational needs, goals and objectives. Lead the construction of enterprise grade roadmaps, run research, create business case studies
- Architectural Leadership: Lead the design, selection, and integration of enterprise applications, including but not limited to CRM, ERP, PSA, HCM and other front and back office solutions and critical systems. Assess existing applications, map to business capabilities, and identify opportunities for consolidation. Lead integration strategies, as well as migration strategies in the cases of already existing solutions. Ensure that solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and support scalability and security.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, including engineers, consultants, architects, managers, and directors across various locations and time zones.
- Business Case Construction: Develop compelling business cases to advocate for the implementation of new technology solutions. Provide calculations to justify the proposed best global technology solutions within reasonable budget. Focus on monitoring and ensuring Return on Investment (ROI).
- Project Oversight: Drive and oversee multiple concurrent technology projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and close collaboration with PMs, BAs, steering, and governance groups. Leading and taking responsibility of the successful project delivery.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate potential blockers, challenges, and difficulties, and proactively devise solutions to guide and support project teams.
- Navigate the above in a complex enterprise environment with different levels of maturity of technology solutions.
