The Cloud Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving the adoption and success of Microsoft Cloud services. This role involves understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate Microsoft Cloud solutions, and overseeing their implementation and ongoing management to achieve business objectives. |
Your responsibilities:
- Work with technical teams to close deals related to Microsoft Cloud solutions that meet client requirements.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Microsoft Cloud products and services.
- Initiate, manage and lead the communication between the client and the delivering departments involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Build strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new mutual opportunities and prepare complex proposals
- Participate in customer retention
- Understand the client’s business model and participate in account business plan execution
- Actively communicate with clients to ensure all of their business needs are translated, understood, and addressed properly
- Negotiate commercial conditions with current and prospect customers
- Consistently plan, direct, and coordinate cross-functional teams and their activities
- Track development of opportunities. Monitor and control work progress while being on top of the requirements coming from the clients
- Bridge gaps across clients and teams by ensuring accurate communication in ways to enhance understanding
- Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the initiatives
- Escalate issues related to schedules, working methods, resources, staff matters, or technical difficulties through appropriate channels in a timely manner. Resolve complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s aspirations
- Coordinate activities with other Business Development team members to identify areas for collaboration and synergy of projects
- Be up to date with key technology trends in the market and provide actionable insights to their account base
- Act as a point of contact for questions, requests and complaints related to projects, services and operations.
- Analyze new and existing programs and processes, and make recommendations which yield a more effective delivery and product.
- Deliver presentations to customer or client audiences or professional peers.
- Maintain positive client relationships.
- Create presentations among other marketing and sales materials.
- Plan, process and perform all jobs in an efficient manner, with little or no assistance from the supervisor.
- Support the company’s strategy execution.
- Support the resource planning and utilization management of the departments
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, Mathematics or Business Administration or any other relevant field.
- At least 7 years of experience in аn IT company with at least 3 years proven experience in account management, sales, customer success, operations and/or project management or another role with similar characteristics, preferably with Microsoft Cloud services
- Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Understanding of Microsoft Cloud products and services, including Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365
- Experience in writing complex proposals with clearly defined value proposition.
- Experience in negotiations.
- Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
- Ability to develop and nurture relationships with various levels of senior management and executive management.
- Effectively possess good leadership skills, positive attitude, top-level accuracy, and critical thinking. Strong communicational and organizational skills to coordinate efforts with attention to detail.
- Possesses time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks, projects, and clients at once.
- Very good problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs.
- Ability to easily prioritize projects and execute initiatives with high quality within deadlines.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Sound experience in initiating and running projects and operations.
- Knowledge and understanding of the underlying processes, laws, standards and regulations.
- Fluent in English.
